A perfect little ditty for anybody who's got a good feeling. "Sharing Shoes," from Colorado Singer/Songwriter Tim James, is an interplay between rhythmic acoustic guitar and singsong, jam-band lyrics. James has obvious talent with both his guitar and his vocals, and blends them well together, moving from fast to slow in a way that feels natural and compelling. He sings with a kind of happy-go-lucky admiration for the birds, the bees, and the life of a simple street musician. This would be a perfect song to hear on the street...definitely would get me to slip him a fiver.
