The Frustrations of Rock n Roll Love
This song gets your attention in just a few short seconds with its punching drum track and distorted rhythm guitar. Ten seconds in, and you're bobbing your head to the beat, which rings almost like the opening of Red Hot Chili Pepper's anthem Dani California (though with a slightly more digital production style). Next, enter the heavy metal vocals, dark and effected, protesting his lover's insincerity and doubting her integrity in a savage grunge-rock style. The emotionality of the track gets a little heavy for me at times, but these guys certainly know how to rock out, and the multiple facets of "Dont Say You Love Me" blend together in a beautifully badass way.
