Tender Singer-Songwriter Confessionals
"Ain't no amount of money will get me to Heaven/ I know loose change will save me from hell/ There ain't no use in crying, cause your tears never hear the pain/ The good Lord, he don't bother me, I haven't heard from him in days." So sings Wisconsin-born Tommy Perry, a talented singer-songwriter now residing in Washington, MO, and employing a delicate style of breathy lyricism and a rhythmic steel-string guitar. Perry started writing tunes 8 years ago and "[hasn't] put down the guitar since." He does both solo acts and plays in a band called "The Find." This song is great for a rainy day when you want your heart-strings tugged on a little bit.
