This track could use a little help in the mixing and mastering department, but nevertheless, "I Do Me" manages to maintain some fresh, funky, hip-hop street energy and a good sense of rhythm and beat. West Virginia based Big K and Jus Joe team up on this track, rapping about street life with typical braggadocio, misogyny, and aggression. Not anything I go crazy for, but the originality of their rhymes feels less important than the duo's musical energy, and their dextrous ability to ride the complex and well-written beat.
