Emerging out of the burgeoning electro-pop underground of Jacksonville, FL, Freya Wolfe has created a lush soundscape in her new track "Smoke Signals," an irresistible dance anthem drawing on modern EDM influences such as Major Lazer and Kygo. Freya's dark and smoky vocals drift across the light, tropical synth and airtight kickdrums, calling out to a romantic partner with almost heartbreaking vulnerability. This is the kind of track that moves an entire dance floor; you can almost hear the pulse of a hundred bodies moving as one, trying desperately to connect with a lover that has left them out in the cold. I'm dying for some kind of sign/Or is it all in vain? I'm sending out smoke signals. "Smoke Signals" is the opening track from Freya Wolfe's debut EP of the same name. DJs, work this talented young artist into your sets now, as Freya will doubtlessly be moving up the festival lineups over the next few years.

I would add "Smoke Signals" to a playlist called

Tropical Nights

"Smoke Signals" is reminiscent of well-known artists such as

Kygo

When listening to "Smoke Signals" I am transported to

Late night dance parties in warm places.
