Dinah Roxx, lead vocalist of Daymes Rocket, unapologetically wails her lyrics out across the air-tight fury of "Breaking me inside," accompanied by guitar, bass, and drums. With a dynamic and impressively full sound, and an old-school rock-and-roll attitude, the track delivers a relentless anthem right to your gut, and leaves you wanting more. Daymes Rocket is an all-girl band hailing from Los Angeles, CA, citing influences such as "Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Foo Fightes, and Veruca Salt." Still, I'm pretty happy with my personal comparison to the Mars Volta's "Frances the Mute," with a style that races, slows, pounds, and surges in a chaos that never once loses its musicality.
