Nashville TN's future/pop hip-hop group, "December's Finest," creates a huge, slick, and almost symphonic sound in their track Joker. The rhymes (featuring guest MCs Btyler and Dozydose) are a good-natured mix of sex-drenched braggadocio, rapped over the mic with effortless skill. The production, however, is what makes this song unique; following along on a continuum created by synth-heavy electropop groups like Ratatat. The tone is optimistic, uplifting, and full, combining synth and 808s into an electronic orchestra.
