If you lived, loved, and rocked through the 1980s, Center of Time's "Following You" will probably strike a pretty happy chord. The song has plenty of great elements, including a powerful set of pipes from the band's lead singer (at times, tender; at others, savage), a nicely paced build and break for anthem rock, a cool vocal sample in the chorus that sounds a little more modern, nasty guitar solos, and in general, a whole lot of epic sound. I think my greatest desire would be for a better mix; all of the instruments could be brighter, cleaner, and more present. Also, it starts to drag during the slow transition, a few minutes from the end. The intent for the full arc of the song is admirable, though I think it could be stronger without the abrasive break.

"Following You" would be an excellent theme song for
