Coming from the heart of trap, "City Limits" employs a range of clicks and ticks to add texture to its futuristic drum track, flushed out even further with a hefty armada of synthesizers that sound like they come out of a Friday the 13th movie. The high-pitched rhymes ratta-tat-tat over every beat in a style vaguely reminiscent of Eminem, revealing a sharp wit and a sharp cunning for the rules of contemporary hip hop, and slamming to an abrupt halt after a short three minutes, leaving you wanting more.
