HighRollers is a well produced track with elements of reggae/dancehall fused with hip-hop, a style pioneered ten years or so ago by new wave roots artists like Damien Marley. The chorus and some of the rhymes are belted out perfectly by a male island vocalist, juxtaposed by some nasty rapping from B.Fortune's female MC, who's voice complements his nicely and creates a nice global sound, sonically connecting New York to the Caribbean. The background production swells with a bright pulse, hip but also optimistic.

I would add "HighRollers" to a playlist called

Island Hip Hop

"HighRollers" is reminiscent of well-known artists such as

Damien Marley
