Listening to this song gave me delightful nostalgic memories of early musical favorites Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler, and Sister Hazel, some of the first CDs I ever owned (after I grew out of an early obsession with Andrew Lloyd Weber and other Broadway soundtracks). I suppose I think of this sound as something like "Mid-90's College Rock," due it's chill, smart, laid-back, and fully realized energy that makes it a great background soundtrack for nearly any occasion. It hints at Ska and Jam influences, while never actually fully going to Jamaica or heading down the Rabbit Hole. The melodic-but-thick voice of the lead singer shines in a way that is great for pop rock, and accessible to all, singing about a fairly typical subject -- the addictive effect of a pretty special gal.

"Right To My Head" would be an excellent theme song for
