Code Blue absolutely crushes a classic Blues Rock melody in "Lay Some Love On Me," a swingin' little ditty about a pole-dancing queen named Honey Hole. It's impossible to say who shines the brightest in this band: the bold female vocals, the perfect rockabilly drums, the sweet blues guitar, the fiery keys, or the deep southern bass. This song belongs in the middle of a lowbrow barroom during Carnival season.

I would add "Lay Some Love On Me" to a playlist called
