Latino Religious Hip-Pop
I can't pretend that my specialty is religious Latin pop music, but I nevertheless am inclined to give "Yo So El" ("I am him") a good review, since its got a really infectious collection of autotuned Spanish lyrics, melodic keylines, and an extremely well-mixed drum track. The song starts out with assertion "dis da remix, baby!" which leads me to wonder what the original sounds like, if there in fact is one. However, the Latino vibe is augmented halfway through when a black voice jumps on the mic (presumably Showtime) to spit a nice verse or two about humility and his search for higher meaning.
