"Only Human II" makes me wonder if this track is the musical sequel to an "Only Human I" (I looked online and couldn't find any indication of said song), but either way it doesn't need it; it stands up on its own. "Only Human" starts with a lovely, up-modulated hook sung by a girl in the modern style of EDM producers like ODESZA. Next, J-SwiZzy raps about the harsh realities of what it means for humans to try to connect and try to love and come up against unavoidable obstacles. The song is about loving, hurting, and regretting; a tender mix of embarrassment and compassion. "I'm only human, and I bleed when I fall down/ I'm only human, and I crash and I break down/ Your words in my head, lies in my heart/ You can react and then I fall apart/ Cause I'm only human."

"Only Human II" will be stuck in my head because

It's really, really damn good hook

I would add "Only Human II" to a playlist called

Regret
