“Mississippi” is a slow, swingin' blues-rock number right at home in the southern river delta. BillE Evans is "a left-handed up-side down guitar player from Haughville U.S.A., presently residing in Speedway, Indiana. [BillE] started playing guitar in 1974...and plays a left handed Strat with the strings up-side down, creating a unique sound," playing everything from rock to rap, but most often going back to his blues roots. His voice is smoky, soulful, and of course, not without a little swagger.

"Mississippi" would be an excellent theme song for

A cajun cookoff

The most impressive instrumental/vocal performance in this recording is

Lead guitar

When listening to "Mississippi" I am transported to

Memphis
