"The Tabby Way" is literally a song about dancing like a cat-- and it's fun, bright, and irresistibly catchy. I could see Cheryl Edelman being a big hit at a daytime, family-friendly music festival; you can almost see the little kids running around, purring, pouncing, and shaking their tails. The songwriting itself is delightful; great keylines and guitar solos, funky drums, and a unity amongst the musicians that will have everyone tapping their toes, young and old. Ironically, I looked up Cheryl Edelman online to see what else I could find, and guess what the first song I found was called? "I Think I'd Like to Be a Cat." Seems like they've got a pretty clear theme in their songwriting, here!
