The title says it all; Portland artist Inica Wreck have created a fairly standard, swinging blues rock number that throws approximately one shit-ton of effects onto the rhythm guitar (possibly a flanger, though I'm no expert here). What this creates is a strange, slightly jarring rock tune that sounds like something you'd put on if you were hosting a barbecue on Mars. The song sings about a naughty sweetheart, with a funky drum filling out the groove created by the guitar. Some hallucinogenic guitar solos also join the rhythm in between verses. The vocals sound a bit effected, as well, which might not have been the best choice; it's not always clear what the words are. If I were mixing this track, I might dry up the vocal effects a little bit, and raise the levels...and suddenly, we've got one hell of a space jam.
