A quirky song about the lord of the artistic underworld

This offbeat song seems to be an ode to that most infamous of pop artists, Banksy. "We thank you Mr. Banksy, for all the pretty pictures on the wall/ We thank you Mr. Banksy, for the plethora of colors you provide/ and all the creative ways you run and hide/ Thank you for all the pretty pictures in our mind." It's a little unclear whether this song is sincere or sarcastic, though it honestly gives no real indication of being the latter. I guess its just hard to believe that a song named after an extremely controversial artist wouldn't be trying to make some sort of statement unto itself. But this song, by Minneapolis band "The Beathealers," doesn't really do anything of the sort. It just seems to be a funny and sweet song about a cool artist. Period. If you like quirky pop, this is the song for you!

I would add "Banksy" to a playlist called

odd
