God damn. "Thanks Given" might not be for everybody, but there's no denying the technical prowess or raw energy that P.K.B. puts into this multi-genre track. The song moves through poetic dreamscapes to savage heavy metal, into epic power ballad anthem rock...a stylistic roller coaster that manages to hold together from beginning to end. I'd be very curious to see this band live, though not sure if my brain would be able to handle the highly-technical fluxuation for more than an hour.
