Jabus, the Georgia musician performing his acoustic song "A Girl Like You," has a voice like honey whisky--dancing around a wide range of notes with equal inspiration from Delta Blues and Indie Pop-Rock. His only accompaniment is his blues guitar, strumming minimally with a percussive thwap. His lyrics are sensual and wonderfully southern, an ode to a girl that's captured his attention (and his heart). He cites her inability "to be moved," but swears that he'll be the one to do it with some wickedly charming braggadocio.

"A girl Like you Jabus" is reminiscent of well-known artists such as

Jason Mraz
