If you missed this track it is probably because of it's curious EDM label here on SongLadder but this song is pure rap even if it doesn't feature your typical bass boosted beat. The beat itself sounds like an Imogen Heap sample. Kid Kid Raw who represents Chicago cites rappers like Fabulous and Nas as his inspirations but he's far from being a clone. From his flow to the production of “Wana Play Me” there isn't a song that comes to mind that carries a similar sound. Kid Kid Raw doesn't need to have some catchy Drake hook to make this song work either. His bars are solid so one can only imagine what a remix of “Wana Play Me” would sound like. Production of this track is pretty clean, the only thing to be sad about is Kid Kid not having more verses.
