Fans of artists like Feist and A Fine Frenzy are in for a treat with the beautiful voice of Emily Jeanne. Without having to belt out her lyrics she is definitely a powerhouse singer with a sweet lit that is certain to soothe most souls. “I Am Yours” is indie music at its best. There isn't a lot of filler in the song, in fact there isn't. It's simply acoustic guitar and vocals. “I Am Yours” is a heartfelt song that is full of raw emotion giving it all the power it needs to command attention the minute you press play. Emily Jeanne while sounding a lot like Leslie Feist has a Cat Power type presence mixed with Regina Spektor. Quality wise, “I Am Yours” sounds just as good as any mainstream song but there is an acoustic quality to it as in it could have easily just been taped in a coffee shop session. There isn't anything to hate about this song so if you're just needing a song to sit back and listen to as you unwind, this is it.
