If you are an avid fan of the rock bands that came out of the 90s then you will definitely want to set your sights and ears on Joel Alan Taylor. Taylor is channeling a bit of Nirvana with a dash Pearl Jam with Chris Cornell's voice for some really great music. This isn't hard rock here, it's pretty chill for the most part allowing you to just enjoy the music has it plays. “The Song That Maya Likes” marches to its own tune making it an original song despite being able to liken it to some popular bands. The track is best to put in the alternative rock category but it wouldn't be too surprising to hear this track being played during a scene where a ragtag group of friends are cruising down the highway with open windows in a stolen ride. “The Song That Maya Likes” is a really nice surprise for SongLadder rock fans.
