David Brooks' Brooks'n'Friends Band is doing something different when it comes to music or more specifically as far as the music variety here on SongLadder is concerned with their track “Upside Love”. The song is of the not much traversed pop rock genre making way for some good music. The composition of the song is something that you would expect to hear in a musical, possibly a Disney film but that could be because of the feature from Stephanie Chang. She has one of those commanding voices that you typically here from one of the main female characters in a Disney production. Her voice could be likened to that of Indina Menzel when she sung “Let It Go”. “Upside Love” really is a great song that will have you rocking and trying to quickly learn the lyrics. From vocals to the band's musical skill, “Upside Love” is a solid track through and through.
