“Something Russian” starts off with a distinct Russian inspired tune with what sounds like some form of stringed instrument, possibly the higher keys on the piano before it picks up after twelve seconds. There is something magical sounding about Running and Punching's track so don't get alarmed if you find yourself spirited away within the first thirty seconds. The vocals can't be compared but are pleasant with a slight dark undertone to them. The track itself comes in just under a few seconds shy of five minutes but it is worth a listen. The composition is a complex piece but everything works together without any hiccups along the way. “Something Russian” sounds like something that should have been put to one of the scenes of the 2006 film The Fall. If you enjoyed the “Something Russian” then you will probably enjoy Running and Punching's music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mqQIedgUKY.
