If you listened to April's other track “You and Me” then you will probably be delighted to find out that she is far from being a one hit wonder shelling out the same tricks. “So Confused” sounds like an old pop song straight out of the late 90s or early 2000s. Her delivery is strong throughout the track as one is to expect after listening to her other song. While on “You and Me” April had more of an Arianna Grande, Bebe Rexha and Alessia Cara vibe going on she's more Sabrina Bryan, Brandy and Christina Aguilera, pre ”Dirty” days with “So Confused”. Like April's voice, the track is a strong production and a great showcasing of her talent. For those looking for more laid back pop that deals more on the dilemma of relationships instead of the sexual innuendos permeating through pop tracks that have been released in the last five years then be sure to give this one a play.
