Off the top Tim James has a nice Jack Johnson quality to him. From voice to guitar skills he sounds like an indie alternative act that just needs a push in the right direction, a small production team to make his music pop and the confidence that he seems to emit in “Sharing Shoes”. Like Johnson, James' track has a storytelling type of set up as he spends his day finding items and running into strange people. It makes for some interesting imagery when you close your eyes. “Sharing Shoes” is one of those songs you expect to hear playing in the local bookstore or coffee shop and maybe if you're lucky it might have a cameo in some independent film. When it comes down to it “Sharing Shoes” is a nice song to listen to while you're sitting around or driving down the highway.
