SongLadder admittedly doesn't have a broad range of heavy metal to offer for those who prefer their rock music a lot more aggressive than their grandmother but thankfully there is A Cruel Twist of Fate. “This Life” is one of those songs that would please any fan of the metal sub genre without much effort. From the handling of bass, guitar and drums to the never faltering vocals that seem to have a crooning edge to them, think Corey Taylor, despite the guttural screaming expected in heavy metal, there is nothing to hate about “This Life”. Bands like Slipknot, Korn, Pantera and Cradle of Filth come to mind when it comes to A Cruel Twist of Fate so you know the guys know exactly how to rock out. Their sound quality is top notch so you can only imagine what a live performance would be like. Fans of heavy metal, black metal and nu metal don't want to miss out on what A Cruel Twist of Fate has to offer.
