“Oklahoma Girl” is pure country and with crisp vocals and sharp strumming it is a wonder how this track isn't on the popular country stations and playing after a Miranda Lambert or Luke Bryan song. The lead singer has a voice that can be likened to Jason Aldean with Sam Hunt tendencies while the music itself is as clean as can be with a high production behind it that rings through the speakers all the way until the end of the song. Like Sam Hunt, Honey Blue has some of that pop country flare to them that definitely makes them more accessible to those who prefer other genres. Truly there is nothing to hate about this song other than most won't be able to enjoy this on the top country countdown. Honey Blue definitely have a hit on their hands and a song that deserves to be replayed at least a few times.
