There's just something about “Rayguns” that screams 'listen to me'. This pop injected track hits the ground running with all the energy it can muster in so little time and does it effectively. At just a little over three minutes “Rayguns” delights the ears as Jericho Tozer and Clare Ashton-Cobb take turns singing cleverly crafted lyrics that have something do with war and of course rayguns. While “Rayguns” is clearly a pop style track it isn't the type of pop you're likely to find on the radio. Instead Elle Rayenne are more in the league of their contemporaries like Lily Allen and Kate Nash except there is a guy added to the mix. The band from Kent, UK aren't all poppy sounds and harmonizing, their Rayguns EP offer up other tracks of various genres for those who want to explore what else the band has to offer.
