It isn't hard to guess that you're about to be treated to some nice production skills when “Peace in the Jungle” starts up. The track is of high studio quality but Mike Body isn't here to wow with his beats when he carries a message in his words. Body crafts a hip-hop spiritual track while rapping about finding peace through religion and God. The jungle serves as a metaphor for the harsh conditions one might face including poverty and the daily ups and downs of life. Body's delivery has glimpses of Jay-Z yet there are also touches of Talib Kweli, Mos Def and even J. Cole. “Peace in the Jungle” is more of an anthem to not let life overcome you and honestly more songs could use that sort of theme. Religious or not, most hip-hop listeners will probably enjoy Body's track.
