SongLadder has a good selection of songs to offer when it comes to the various sub genres found in rock music but there aren't many progressive rock songs here that drag you in immediately and hold you until the last note like Odd Evening. Their track “So Paranoid” is a strong piece of music that has notes of Opeth, Dream Theater and Rush permeating throughout. The front man has one of those voices that helps carry the band not that the band needs carrying. Quality wise, Odd Evening is as professional as professional comes. Instruments are played with precision and command attention while somehow not taking away from the vocals. “So Paranoid” is a song that could definitely be used as the opening of a popular tv show, especially one that has eclectic and supernatural characters. You will want to make sure you give this one a play.
