Orbiting Great Music as the Satellites Drop

The beginning of “When the Satellites Drop” is reminiscent of Incubus “Are You In” from their 2001 album Morning View but Billy Dechand is no Incubus let alone Billy Boyd. Instead he's more of an infusion of David Bowie and Paul McCartney with a soothing voice that brings the music to life effortlessly. Dechand is an artist who seems to dip between the sub genres of rock while having sort of a jazz undertone without a problem. The chorus is catchy and you might find yourself singing along and perhaps even wondering “what will you do when the satellites drop”. The track is like a voyage through space and has some parts that will remind you of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Stadium Arcadium album which tells you something about the quality of Dechand's music. If you find yourself liking “When the Satellites Drop” you might want to continue orbiting in Dechand's atmosphere and check out his other songs like “Reproduce” and “Innocent Sin”.
