Don't be turned off with the track title of Bengali Arkangel's song “Murderahs” because you'll end up missing out on a really amazing song. From the track title you might think you're in for a rap song but “Murderahs” is pure reggae which is interesting considering Bengali Arkangel is from the beautiful island of Maui. Regardless, Arkangel crafts a track that brings to mind notable reggae artists like Buju Banton, Lee “Scratch” Perry and of course Bob Marley. Despite the title name, “Murderahs” is a purely positive song as Arkangel tells the story of the things he sees all around him like his brother in the street dying. Luckily Arkangel isn't giving up and encourages everyone to stay uplifted in times of darkness and crime. The passion Arkangel exudes in this song is contagious and gives you hope for coming future through the duration of the track.
