“Save Me” is a rock track that is leaning more in the alternative realm as a lot of modern rock seems too like to follow that trend. The Catalystics don't try to change the tide and stick to the rock tide for a mostly solid song. Instrumentals and vocals pair up nicely together but if anything could be said it would be that it would be nice to see this track with some grade A production value to give “Save Me” more kick. The Catalystics have a unique sound but there are some Nirvana vibes coming heavy from the track with a mix of the Vines. The lead singer has a real nice range and the way he sings “come on and save me baby/ come on and save me, save me/ come on and save me baby/ or just leave me be” sounds really good.
