“Lisa” has the grooving melody that one would expect to find when listening to the likes of Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn yet somehow The Flowered Gnomes manage to do that yet while channeling The Rolling Stones musical prowess with lyrics that could have easily been belted out by the Beatles. “Lisa” is a toe tapping number for sure but you might just want to don your daisy chain and dance to the music instead. There is almost an eccentric quality to the lead singer's voice only in the sense that while most modern music has a manufactured sound this one is more raw and forthcoming. The Flowered Gnomes are just another band here on SongLadder who are showing all the different variety of music that New York has to offer. Fans of the aforementioned artists and bands will surely enjoy spending their day grooving with Lisa.
