Never the Sun, if you look them up, categorizes themselves as metal, stoner rock and sludge southern metal and honestly it is an accurate description of the music they make. Tracks like “Laid to Waste” and “Dead Zone River” pack some serious punches and “Feeling Inside” doesn't fail to deliver. Five seconds in and you know you have something that deserves to be on rotation. The track packs high production, the lyrics are nicely written and Craig Bush's vocals are a one hit knockout with a nice bit of range. It's hard to not compare “Feeling Inside” to bands like Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch but trust, Never the Sun are their own band. Fans of the rock and metal world will certainly find something to love about this track and hopefully spend more time checking out this Street, Maryland band.
