If you had to quickly describe Young Damage you might say a mix of Eminem with Yelawolf though the beat is more that of a hybrid of West Coast rap meets the Dirty South. “Down to Ride Out” or “DTRO” is a laid back type of song but it has the beat that would make it a club banger. There is definitely potential for the track to make it to the radio especially with Young Damage's ease of spitting. “Down to Ride Out” for what it is happens to be a solid track though some may argue that the contents of the lyrics don't have much substance but that doesn't seem to be the goal of Young Damage. He shows confidence on the mic over a nicely produced beat and doesn't get lost in the background. Anyone who has found themselves nodding to a Yelawolf or Machine Gun Kelly track will find themselves at home with Young Damage.
