John De Vinci is one of those artists you accidentally come upon on Soundcloud and can't help but click on their artist page in hopes that they have more music to offer. “GUID” is an attention grabber for sure especially considering it opens up with a TLC “No Scrub” sample. The beat to “GUID” isn't a heavy banger to blow the speakers out but it isn't one to be overlooked as it's nicely produced. De Vinci isn't one of those artists who you can compare with those already being played on the radio but that just makes him all the more appealing especially if you're tired of the same clones popping up everywhere. The wordplay is a solid A plus with every line being as original as the first. De Vinci is a promising artist who will hopefully continue to put out more music. You should definitely get up in this.
