Here at SongLadder there isn't an abundance of reggae or even reggaeton so “99 Lies” by Shagnatty is a nice addition to the library. It doesn't hurt that Shagnatty is like a mix of Bob Marley and Peter Tosh with Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart vibes. “99 Lies” is the type of song you would look forward to being performed at a music festival, something like Coachella as you just enjoy the music and outdoor weather. This is an everyday song in the sense that you don't need a reason to play it other than the fact you're up to listening to some good music. The production from Shagnatty is top notch from vocals to instrument handling and with a nice clean balance between the both there is everything to like and little to nothing to hate about this track. Anyone who enjoys reggae or the aforementioned artists should undoubtedly find themselves liking this little number.
