Don't let the title fool you, “Thundreboy” isn't some epic orchestral odyssey or the title for the next Marvel movie but it is a foot tapping track hitting all the right notes in just a little over two minutes. Ricky Lake Spencer doesn't wait to get this track rolling at all, after six seconds a crooning voice with a gentle twang accompanied by an acoustic guitar grace the ears without remorse. There's no catchy chorus here, in fact there isn't a chorus at all but the skillful plucking of the strings completely makes up for it. A tune for those who like rock, “Tundreboy” sounds like something straight from the 1970's but leaves out the usual filler in today's music. Ricky Lake Spencer's track is just one of those feel good songs without even trying. Don't believe me, look to the evening news.
