“Van Cleave” is all funk and nothing but funk. Patrizio has created the type of music that doesn't get much radio play but that doesn't subtract that it's a cool piece. With what is probably partly software generated noise and possibly a beat machine “Van Cleave” cleaves its way from beginning to end without remorse or any signs of slowing up. This isn't the type of dancing music you'll hear at the club but it doesn't mean you won't catch a go-go girl or two or three working their cage. There is a sort of rave quality to the track without truly being EDM. Patrizio is surely his own artist but his track boasts sounds that one can easily compare to classic bands like Funkadelic while throwing in Galactic and Jamiroquai. If you haven't had a chance to listen to some funk music recently then let Patrizio take it away.
