Best if You Love Bluegrass
Bluegrass at its finest, ElectricButterKnife's “Best if You Don't Come” hits all the high notes without there being any. While the title may seem ominous the track is actually lighthearted as the warning given by the male and female duet is one of potentially falling in love. Vocals are rustic which pairs nicely when back with the Southern twang of what is probably the banjo. The accompanying instruments are exactly what you expect from any song from the folk and bluegrass genre, clean and simple. The acoustics are nice and while there is no true vocal range being showcased in “Best if You Don't Come” you can appreciate the talent being delivered in this four minute diddy. While the person this track is directed towards might not want to come around anymore any fan of bluegrass may want to visit this song a few times.
