“Strange Houses” by Strange Houses is something of a mashup of The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel yielding some true classic rock sounds. “Strange Houses” is a title that you expect to hear dark tunes and lyrics that have a lot to do with ghosts and other dark entities but you won't find that here. Instead the song seems to actually have something to do with a rental house instead of serving as an elaborate metaphor about life. The frontman of the band has an intriguing voice that compliments the backing instruments perfectly. Speaking of the instruments they are played with professional fingers from guitar to bass and of course the drums. There is even a guitar solo halfway through the track that has some real Slash type vibes. “Strange Houses” is the haunted house you can enjoy without ever being scared.
