Chasing Vegas comes out swinging with their track “In Your Hand” that you can't help but be appreciative with what the band has to offer. They are something of a mix breed with their sound as you can hear likenesses of other bands permeating forth such as Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down and The Offspring. This makes for some delicious listening that should delight most fans of the rock genre. When it comes to lyrics and play ability “In Your Hand” is one of those songs that could easily make its way on to the radio without trouble. Plus those “oooo oooo's” are pretty catchy so expect those to be stuck with you after the song is over. Vocally the lead singer sounds like a mix of Serj Tankian meets Benjamin Kowalewicz and Dexter Holland. Regardless of the similarities Chasing Vegas is clearly their own band delivering a great song that might make a great soundtrack addition to a films like Underworld and Resident Evil.
