A Different Type of Lullaby

If a sexy ghost is truly managing The Wannabes then they are doing a pretty good job for not being corporeal. The Wannabes which sounds like the name of a band from the 70s has more of a 90s rock vibe to them with a little of the 80s thrown in. However if you look at the band as a whole they are pretty much traversing the modern rock scene sounding like a mix of notable bands like Green Day, Weezer and The Strokes. What you get with “Lullaby” is surprisingly everything but an expected night time song before bed. Instead the track is a few steps back from being properly called energetic but too many steps ahead to be properly labeled as chill. What you get is a great song that will have you tapping a finger or foot to the beat as you sing “my friends don't exist” with glee. At the end of the day “Lullaby” is a proper track that is due for a repeat.
