Those who are avid fans of the Cranberries will be delighted with Merry Citoli. An obviously talented singer and songwriter she sounds like Dolores O' Riordan which is nothing short of a compliment. From the get go the music channeling the Spanish guitar draws you in and doesn't let you go the same way the lyrics do. “Phantoms” is one of those songs that would be one of the most popular sets during tour performances. There is a good mix of not only the Cranberries but also Sarah McLachlan and Natalie Merchant going on. Merry Citoli has a powerful voice that demands the attention it certainly deserves. “Phantoms” is one of those songs you could catch at the end credits of a thriller movie that prompts you to buy the OST right after. The song is of the alternative rock variety but either way it is a song that will stay with you even after it ends.
