Sometimes here on SongLadder you might run into a song or two that will have you asking “why isn't this on the radio”. Todd Berry's “Politically Incorrect Redneck” is one of those tracks. Berry is pure country here and is unapologetic while doing so. Instead of taking on the more pop infused country roads like Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt, Berry is more Tim McGraw and George Strait. There is some humor in the lyrics that Berry sings with strong vocals as he pokes fun at how politically correct the world has gotten in the last few years but like most things that are humorous there are some truth to what he says. The production of “Politically Incorrect Redneck” is up there with songs produced for the likes of Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisely which gives you a good idea that this is definitely a radio friendly type song. While it would be nice for Todd Berry to get some national radio play if not just local you can still give this one a few solid plays, even non country friends can enjoy this one.
