If you're a hip-hop head then you're going to be instantly hooked with Raleigh, North Carolina's 9192. The minute “Time Flies” featuring Dame begins to pump through your speakers your head starts to fall in sync with a nod that doesn't stop until the song does. 9192 has that old school flow and the production work is nice. In fact they have a J Dilla meets Slum Village meets A Tribe Called Quest feel about them which is refreshing in a time where everyone wants to be the next Drake. It wouldn't be fair to compare the group to anyone as 9192 and Dame are passed having potential when it's clear they have what it takes to blow. “Time Flies” is definitely a song that needs to be played on the radio or at least get air time in the Triad and surrounding area.
