If Johnny Cash created bluegrass music then you would probably have something like Just Another Station on your hands. “29 Road” is a toe tapping type of song that you could probably hear in a film that features a lot of scenes on the open road in a stolen Ford Thunderbird a la Thelma and Louise. There is a warm friendly quality about the vocals along with the delivery. This is the type of music you could hear being performed at the local bar to much fanfare. The guitar playing is crisp and never fails to keep the pace of the song. There's a narrative style to “29 Road”, holding a quality that you don't often get with more modern music which might bring a bit of nostalgia to some. All in all “29 Road” is a good strong song with that bluegrass feel that might just send you out on a drive.
